Distance Healing Sessions 


I'd like to share a testimonial from a Mum who got some BodyTalk sessions for her young Son with me. We worked with him 'remotely' or from a distance, sometimes with her in my clinic acting as a 'surrogate' for the session, but not always. So at the time of his sessions, the boy could be with his Dad at home going about normal activities, with the Dad aware of the time the session was ocurring. This story is heartwarming for me because challenges like this can get so frustrating and distressing, for both the child and the parents, and it's so fantastic to see how when you balance the energy and get the body's communication systems 'back on line', issues clear up so easily and simply. Working with BodyTalk with children is an amazing experience, it's lots of fun and they are really receptive to the energy - but distance work is a great alternative so they don't have to be contained in a room or chased around! Of course, distance healing is also a great option for anyone who can't get to me, because of location or circumstance (eg in hospital or can't travel for any reason.)


Here's what the Mother has to say about the outcome of our distance healing work...


'My son was developing a stutter and I took him along to Tania to see if she could help in any way.  The very next day I noted a difference, and that stutter we were so worried about has nearly disappeared now.  It's just ceased to be an issue for us.  She found that there was a relationship between a crash C -section we had to birth him and his speech development.  Basically, something hadn't been 'switched on'.  How amazing is that!? I wish more people knew how easy it can be.'

Good News - Funding For BodyTalk Sessions!

I'm aware many folks would love to invest in more regular self-care sessions such as BodyTalk, but some feel they 'just can't afford it'. Well, here's the good news - you can now get fully funded BodyTalk sessions with me. It depends on what your needs are, so if you are interested, call and have a chat with me about it...
Disability Allowance
I have clients now receiving the disability allowance through WINZ. To get this allowance, you need to be referred by a Doctor. It's a huge step forward for complementary healthcare to receive such mainstream funding and a great option for coming to have BodyTalk (or other modalities) with me. 


Nelson Marlborough Primary Mental Health Initiative
This is a fantastic programme for people who have reasonably low-risk 'mental health' challenges. This can be anything from insomnia, depression, grief, anxiety, feeling isolated or shut down, or just being under a great deal of stress from a current situation, eg family stress, relationship breakups, traumatic event and so on. There is such a broad range of possibilities that many people can get help through this funding initiative. Again, it's an amazing step forward to have mainstream health acknowledging the power of BodyTalk to help with so many of these issues, especially as many people don't want to get involved with the Mental Health 'system' and so may not get the help they need.

Did you know your body is always in one of two modes?
Growth and Nurture Mode: in this mode, all the body’s energy and resources are going into self regulating and healing – into your immune responses, digesting food, cleansing the blood, repairing cells, learning, self-expansion, and so on, and so on..
Protective Mode (“Fight or Flight mode”): in this mode, all your body’s energy and resources are going into immediate survival – blood pressure rises as the heart pumps harder and faster, blood is directed into the limbs, (so you can flee from danger or fight against it) and directed from the thinking part of your brain into the ‘primal responses’ part of the brain, so you don’t stop to think when you really need to take action! The body’s resources in this state are diverted away from less immediately important activities, such as digestion, the immune system etc. This is a very important capability of our bodies, as it enables us to get out of the way of oncoming buses without stopping to wonder whether or not we should!
However, we can become stuck in this protective mode, as in a modern world our stresses are no longer ‘lions and tigers’ but mortgages, commuting, breaking up of relationships, global warming, economic recessions, childhood abuse, alcohol and drug abuse, environmental toxins, and so on and so on….as we find that this stress is linked to our dis-ease it is important that we find ways of dealing with it effectively.
My highest priority in my work is to facilitate people back into Growth and Nurture mode, so that these everyday stresses affect you less and less, and your body gets back on with the job of keeping itself well.
